It was the deep dark blues
That shone so flawlessly as they sparkled
And blinked with such a beauty
Luminescent of life
And the love of living.
They were lapis lazuli,
The most perfect shade of azure...
Gazing into the world,
And seeing all that there is to be seen.
They shone with the utmost perfection,
Two percieving stones of intellect,
Absorbing the world,
Taking it all in
With breaks of blinks
And sleeping darkness.
They were chasms
They were blinking eye catching
Orbs of intellect.
Windows into the soul...
A soul,
In which shone with such brilliance,
Such beauty
That it drew one in
Closer...with its incandescent luminosity.
